While visiting the Sonoran Desert Mueum's hummingbird aviary one Spring, I was rewarded with the opportunity to take hundreds of photos of hummingbirds. This delightful female Anna's Hummingbird, sitting quietly on her nest, was a real treasure to find and was not opposed to being photographed. Though there was abundant foliage surrounding her, I decided to simplify and center on her quiet demeanor and the intricacies of her nest. |
